Planting at last

Yesterday I went down the allotment and found out that the old chap who hold the plot at the bottom of mine died over Christmas. Apparently he has given his plot back to the council and his son came out and asked me if I wanted anything from the plot. Sad news, I didn't take anything because they were still clearing the house and it seemed wrong but I may take some water butts next week while I am down there.

Well I planted 150 onions, 40 garlics and my Annabelle early pots. Broads are growing nicely and I uncovered them with the promise of decent weather this week.

My Broccoli is growing nicely at home along with Caulis and onions, and the sprout seeds are just showing.

Clocks are forward so now I have time to get to the allotment after work, if I can face it.

Watching for "weekly transformations" with interest. Nice to see something developing from its beginning. You can't better fresh veggies and should crops exceed expectations will gladly assist the harvesting if you'd be kind enough to supply a seat for this old pensioner!!
